Truly an International School!

The Pacific NorthWest Art School is truly an international school with students this past week in a fiber workshop coming from Israel, Kazakhstan, Bristish Columbia, all over the U.S., and not to be out done, several local, professional level felters from Whidbey!  Here is a shot with our student from Israel taking notes while a student from British Columbia looks on and the class assistant, one of our "locals" assists.

Students From Afar...and Near

One of the best things about an art school is one never knows where our students will come from...from right down the street to halfway around the world. This year we have an exceptionally unique group in one fiber class starting later this month. We will have a student from Israel and one from Kazakstan as well as a group of local, very talented fiber artists.  This fellow, picutred above, is not in a workshop but we think this photo reflects the diversity that flows through our doors and community!  If you think you know who this Ghandi wanna be is...send us your best guess.
