Please come support the 49th Annual Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival and Juried Art Show this coming weekend August 10-12, 2012.

Did you know that every piece of art purchased from the Juried Art Show held in the Rec Hall supports us?  Well, it does and we thank you for your past and hopefully this year's support!  So come down to the Rec Hall and check out what our local artists have created for us this year.

Friday Nights Wine Tasting and Art Opening starts at 7:00 p.m.  Stroll downtown and see the picturesque scene the Hawaiian Chieftan makes moored at the Wharf and perhaps have dinner at one of our many great dining spots and then come enjoy the wine tasting and the art.  See you there !

RYAN & FRIENDS FINE ART-New kid on the block!

Whidbey Island welcomes a new art gallery, RYAN & FRIENDS FINE ART. In the famed location of Ann Wilson’s Coupe D-Art at 902 NE Center, across the street from the Anchorage Inn… just two blocks from the Coupeville Historic Waterfront.

As a photographer and producer of coffee table books and documentary television, Ryan has collaborated with writers and artists throughout our American West. To open RYAN & FRIENDS FINE ART she invited some of her talented artist and literary friends to showcase their works at the gallery, along with her original photography. Ryan’s hope is to offer Whidbey Islanders diverse artwork from around the West and autographed copies of books from authors who have participated with her.

RYAN & FRIENDS FINE ART will open this Friday, August 10 – Noon to 7 pm, to celebrate the Coupeville Arts Festival and Festival Wine Tasting and Art exhibit.

RYAN & FRIENDS FINE ART will be open on weekends, by appointment, for screenings, and special literary and theatrical events. Whidbey has a new venue for diverse art forms.
