Recipient of the 2009 Texas Medal of Arts and called a "Poet of the Ordinary" by the Los Angeles Times, Keith Carter's haunting, enigmatic photographs have been shown in over one hundred solo exhibitions in thirteen countries. Eleven books of his work have been published and a documentary film: A Certain Alchemy, available in DVD, was released by Anthropy Arts, NY.
