Meet Seth Apter!
Seth Apter is a mixed-media artist from New York City, focused primarily on paper arts, book arts, and textural assemblage. His artwork and writing can be seen on multiple websites, including CreateMixedMedia.com, and have been published in multiple books, national magazines, and independent zines. Seth is currently working on his first book, The Pulse of Mixed Media.
Q: What’s the best book you’ve read lately?
A: Ricë Freeman-Zachery’s Living the Creative Life is my go to book right now. I constantly read random pages for inspiration.
Q: What’s the most inspiring trip you’ve ever taken or adventure you’ve ever had?
A: Two plus weeks wandering around Italy. It doesn’t get better than that!
Q: What’s the last thing you cooked?
A: Does cereal count?
Q: If you could surround yourself with only one color, what would it be?
A: The color where the ocean meets the sky.
Q: What’s your favorite place in all the world?
A: NYC. And how great that I actually live there.
Q: What one thing do you want to do that you haven’t done yet?
A: Travel to all the countries on my list that I haven’t yet been to. It’s a long list.
Q: What’s the best day you’ve ever had?
A: I didn’t know it at the time but it was the last dinner with my whole family before my mother died.
